been working on this thing for ever it feels like. had to order another trigger guard for it. the other one was too small for the double set trigger. the problem the problem with this one is. will not fit in the inlays for the trigger guard. thinking about filling them in and surface mounting the guard.

only thing left is getting an rear site (swear I had on for it), drilling an pilot hole for an 1 screw for the butt plate, and figuring out the trigger guard. my break down and send to fg to finish up for me lol

just an pic of the gun. fg browned the barrel and I did the stock.

Nice. I love sidelocks. They look so right. Very Happy

To be honest. I really hate the looks on inlines.

I guess i'm just an old fart who likes old stuff.

I fly fish with bamboo rods and silk lines. bounce

well, trigger guard is on. looks kinda bad right now with the steel screws I ended up putting in them. I will get some brass ones in an few days.

i am in need of a few more tools before I attempt something like this again. damn luck hit me again twice today. looked on ebay and some one just put the trigger guard I need up for sale. one top of that I spent two times more on an breech plug for my knight then I should of have. grrrr

That will look awesome when it is done. I wish I never sold my first muzzleloader which was a Hawken. I am still kicking myself for that one .
