PostSubject: my sks hunting set up for hunting season   Fri 5 Sep - 22:00

this is my sks for this season. it goes out the last two days rifle season.

I refinished the stock last spring. placed an muzzlebreak. in the last 2 weeks. placed the old leather sling that was on my '06 before I sold it.

just need to get it sighted in. going to get eather win. powerpoints or rem. sp for it for a deer load. planning on reloading and casting for it later too.
also going to get a another stock and a 5rd mag for it. but I will be playing the parts game. (922r)

I had an sks i was not impressed with the accuracy,
I would like to know how yours does ...I did take 2 deer with mine...and missed 1...

I found out how the bullets act after about 70yrds in some and sold it ...

I was informed that the bullets fly in spyrals or circles ,and the further out you get the bigger circle it makes...

Mine at 130yrds was making an 18" circle...Aim at the heart in a deer and hit 6" below the ear in the neck...

It went fully auto on me 2 times pulling real real slow on the trigger BBBZZZZ EMPTY 10 rounds gone...

A friend bought it , and knew about everything ..he also ownes 2 CZ 52's neat pistols

was that just your? I see targets one site I goto with tight 100 yrd groups. but that is with a few more mods that I have.

sound like you where shooting ammo with soft primers, get slam fire.

bbbzzzz just the follower catching the bolt after the last round.

I'm not planning on taking shoots over 75yrds with this. no where I hunt has clearings over 75yds
