In the market to cast a conical for the 1:28 twist CVA's and so I am considering order 1 of the 2 moulds.

This one really looks sweet but i am not sure how well they'd do.

The other mould is the 370gr maxiball mould and i know the optima i had shot them extremely good with 80 and 90gr BH209 at 100 yards. I was just hoping that 340gr mold would do well and eliminate that huge void in the maxiball that has to be filled with lube.

Your thoughts? Take the chance on the first one and see how well it does?

Jon that mould is for a .515 bullet for a 50/70 or 50/90 unless its real soft lead and even with that it might be hard to load in your muzzy.

yeah i noticed that, i'd have to get it around .506" for the perfect fit. Which wouldn't be hard to do, just not something i like having to do LOL.

You could get a custom sizer die I think lee will do it.

contact lee, I think they do costume push thru's for around $30 to $50 on the high side

well thats not bad then, i can handle that. I will look deeper into this down the road.
