Well just got this yesterday and finally got to set it up today. I was at Cabela's a few days ago and saw one of these and really liked it. One thing I did not care for on the previous Optima was the latch in the front even though it is a good gun I just couldn't get past it. The trigger is very nice and better than the one I had on my Apex. Not sure where it is at as far as pounds but it isn't a lot and no creep that I can feel. The bluing on this gun is pretty much black and has a nice look to it. Tomorrow I will have my bh209 plug and will set the headspace. It has a Nitrex 3-9x42mm on top. I plan on getting out within the next two weeks and will follow up with a range report on it.

I also like the looks of that gun. I had the first optima and hated where the latch was, that was the reason i got rid of it. I really like the v2........i just have to figure out my primer deal. Congrats on a nice gun
