PostSubject: Omega breech plug help needed   December 25th 2013, 3:50 pm

I have been lurking here quite awhile, reading a lot of good information and will be making changes this off season and need some help. I have an Omega that I have been shooting t7 pellets and Powerbelts with and plan on switching to BH209 with Barnes TEZ's.

Will the breech plug I have been using on my Omega work with the loose powder?

I will be setting up a new to me Kodiak also and want to use the same load for both if it is accurate and tend to shoot 100yds or more often for where we hunt. I like the ballistics of the 290gr TEZ but will I be better off with trying the 250gr first for deer?

thanks

The Omega has the best breech plug made for BH 209. Just use any full strength shotgun primer, and you're all set.
