Its been a while since i've loaded and shot the 30mm BP cannon sooooo I am thinking about cleaning it up tomorrow since it will be in the low 60's and get it ready to fire on video. Maybe load up some ball bearings. I will take a look tomorrow and see what can be done for a nice loud boom. Twisted Evil

Only thing I've got against the cannons is that they are damned hungry for powder !

It's raining here today but you just reminded me that I need to clean and repaint my 1 Inch field piece for the coming summer.   I can shoot cast lead balls or golf balls in it depending on the range I have available.

Im stuck cleaning the gun closet and clearing a scope I dipped. So hot, I am in shorts and t shirt!

My Napoleon cannon model shoots the same size balls as my 12 ga.

does that sucker flip over after every shot? LOL I had a couple 50cal cannons that were maybe 8" long and those suckers would just flip over all the time.

No, but it backs up real good. The .690 ball is a good fit. I never patched it to see if it went straighter.
