Yes, they're fine.

The (QRBP) breach plugs when new are tightened with a special wrench to make a seal in the barrel.  Since they are sealed to one barrel, they would only provide a tight seal in that barrel. You would need to get a new breach plug for the accura mr.

That's not true. I've swapped them before with no problems, and no blowback.

Didn't know you could swap them. I thought that once you seated them to a barrel they would only match that barrel. Thanks for the information.

Barrels are not that much different. What you hope for is that your barrel is a hair smaller, so you can fit it to your barrel.

I've done it 2-3 times with good results. I'm thinking the collar on the BP expands a bit when fired to seal it.

Remember though pete, the mr that was fitted to another gun before that had to be replaced due to it being small and slipped past the sealing surface. I personally wouldnt recommend swapping between rifles.

I thought the problem was the primer pocket with that BP?

The BP that Ron modified was put in three different CVA's with no problems.

that was one of the problems but the main problem was how it was just slipping into the chamber after you snugged it up.

3rd times the charm as they say lol. Im running a modded plug in it now.

I always thought that collar on the BP would expand to seal the thread when the charge went off.

You can always tape the threads.
