I have a friend who is perpetually late. I got tired of it so I told him I was leaving for a duck hunt at 5:00 am. If he wasn't there by 5:10, I was leaving without him. He wasn't there and I left.  :dodo You never heard such crying and moaning when I saw him the next time. I told him, if you can't leave on time, I don't want you to come.

He hasn't come with me since. One less problem. Twisted Evil

Lost a good friend the same way. Wait to go bow hunt and was always late told him he wasn't dependable he got pissed and never hunted with me again. Like my dad told me if you wait for someone to do or go hunt with you you'll never go. Never waited for anyone again.

Well Ray, on the other hand, if the video camera hadn't arrived, you'd still have plenty of time to wait for it lol!

That's ok buddy, just pumps you up until tempers start to flare and then you get to hunt.

"Just a little aggravated. The old saying......Shit happens.......Well we were supposed to be gone and a little problem arose with my buddy. Nothing serious but he had to take care of it before we leave."

Define a little problem, his health or a family member of his?   You did not mention if this is a habitual problem or not.

I had a very good friend who called on the Sunday evening of the opening of deer season and left a message on my recorder saying he did not e feel good and was not going to make the  6 hour trip to visit and would be there on Monday.

On Thursday, they found him in his trailer, dead, estimated time of death is he died directly after he called me.  Ambient temperature was 90 during the day.  Great experience for the finders and the funeral home folks.
