PostSubject: my luck tonight   October 31st 2014, 9:30 pm

went to do an cleaning on my 45cal 1-28 twist, the ramrod is stuck, with a the small patch I have. I must of set a new record for losing a 45cal jig. bought an extra so I do lose the one that is stuck.

then pulled out my wolf, the breech plug was stuck again. I got it loose with no damage to the plug.
found a little bit of rust on my win. apex, it was only on the outside. cleaned it up.

on top of it all, all my guns won't fit in my gun cabinet.

ordered a a few things from track of the wolf. an ramrod puller, an 40cal jig, and an better patch worms.

I hope the end of your ramrod is pinned. otherwise you'll have a bare shaft and the jag and patch will still be in it .. unless you're lucky.

it is a good solid rod, it is pinned in.

the rod did not make it all the way down. going to try to pull on or even push it all the way down. looked up a few ideas to get the rod out. so hope they work
