Does anyone make an hammer extension for an Optima pistol? I would like one about a 1/4 inch longer than the one that CVA provides. The bell on the scope interferes a bit when exercising the hammer. On a pistol scope the end bell is very close to the hammer. I would think a longer one could be made out of aluminum, and be of similar weight as the oem hammer.

None for the CVA guns other than what they provide. Could be easy enough to make one yourself of you have a thread cutter.

I had the same problem with my CVA Accura MR. The hammer spur was just too short to suite me.
The spur on mine was hollow though so I chucked up a brass rod in my drill press, (got mine from a string peg from an old piano I deconstructed), and used a file to turn it to a nice fit, stepped. Then I used 2 part epoxy putty to glue it in. Had to use my vise to squeeze the extender into the hollow spur once I filled it with epoxy. Works fine.
