PostSubject: Granddaughter's New Gun   June 2nd 2015, 11:41 am

They opened a new pawn & gun in a little town 7 miles from me. The town has a population of ~1100 so I don't know how well a gun shop will do there.
I went in and they had a youth 20 ga. Mossberg 500 Super Bantam that was barely used. I think it has been shot but not much. It had a scope mount on the receiver (gunsmith job), 3 choke tubes, and a camo pink stock. It was missing a choke wrench and a magazine plug. I found a choke wrench (a quarter Laughing ) and can make a plug from a dowel rod in about 6 minutes.
It was $60 less than the best price I could find for a new one with a black stock and no scope mount so I bought it. If my granddaughter doesn't like it, I'll paint the stock and give it to my grandson in a few years. :shh

Don't kid us Bob. You bought that for yourself to match your hunting outfit.
