Nitride is much more durable, and rust free. I would get that if I were you.

Just about everybody sells their premium rifles with camo synthetic stocks. If you buy one and don't mind doing some extra work, lots of people use Krylon spray paint to achieve the finish they desire. You could do that on the MR, just make sure you tape off the soft grip areas first. If it was me, I'd just leave it the way it is. If I had a choice between a black or camo option on a Nitride MR I might  go with black because if it was cheaper. I have a blued Wolf in camo, didn't want camo at first but I don't mind now.

Any choice you make is going to be a good one. I have the camo / stainless MR limited edition & it's a fantastic gun. If you clean & lube your guns properly, you won't have any issues. If you hunt in a lot of wet weather I would probably go with the camo / black Nitride.

For the best info & price, call Carlos at Ed's Gun Shop. 910-692-7936

I might catch some heat for this, but I don't like CVA's stainless.  It seems to rust easier than other stainless rifles I've had.  Most of the CVA's in my extended family have rust/tarnished barrel ends with some having stains in the bore most likely from the combination of 777 and not being cared for properly.  I went with the MR Nitride myself.  The finish is warranted for the life of the gun, inside and out.  If it ever rusts, CVA will replace it.  That's all I needed to know.  My MR will shoot very well, with most groups staying at or below 1" at 100 yards.  You can't go wrong with either, but my vote would be for the MR Nitride.
