I was just checking out the new 2015 deer regulations and seen this new change.  I like it.

"Hunters age 60 and over may use a magnifying scope during the muzzleloader deer season".

Hey BigDaddy, don't feel bad about that!  It will get here all too soon.

Take care.

It sneaks up on you fast.

Couple years ago Ft. Sill went retrograde with the first week of ML season. Conventional guns only; no scopes, no fire sights and no sabots.

When you're old and can't see worth a crap hunting without a scope makes you a better hunter. Last year i sneaked up on a really nice buck. He was over one mile from the nearest road in an where a big ice storm had broken the limbs off trees. Gave the buck a pass.

Yep, makes you better and smarter. If he is a mile from the nearest road a pass is really showing that you are a genius.
