nice batch of squirrels..wish I would of never gotten rid of my old CVA double 12 ga.

Last time out, I took my .62 cal. (20 gauge) Flintlock Fusil for tree rats.  Only had #7 shot & wasn't impressed that they could run 1/2 way 'round the tree before dropping off. 

The .600" roundball works better - in fact, that's what I'll use from now on & I highly endorse it.  All 3 rode chunks of tree bark to the ground & only bounced a little.  No bloodshot meat, missing limbs or holes in the little hides.

Would like to see a squirrel barked with a .62 cal, only took my .40 out twice this year and killed 8 squirrels..killed 4 with the .32 and haven't been anymore, now that deer season is in may not go until Dec.
