PostSubject: GREEN HORNET   October 17th 2015, 7:05 pm

If you all been wandering what I have been doing, well here it is. Between regular ML's, and the SML's I have been real busy this year and here is one of them. This one belongs to Al, and I call her the GREEN HORNET due to the Green Boyd's stock that is on the gun. It has a 26" Shilen barrel, Harrel brake, and it is built on a Remington ML action. The barrel is excellent, nice and smooth all the way down, no loose spots, no tight spots, just plain symmetrical. I put a DNZ mount on it and a Leuopold VX-R 4x12x40 Wind Plex, Fire Dot, CDS. Took her out to break her in for him this past Weds. Once I got her on paper at 50 yrds, I took her out to 100 yrds, gun was sighted in with FTX's 250 gr. smooth sized. firs round a bit low and to the left, brought the cross hairs down to the round impact, and the rest was history. The next four shots right next to the bull, I then decided to shoo three Barnes, and the results were great. Needless to say, this is another great built by Cole at CMC Firearms, and AL will be pleased with this gun. First target are the Barnes, and the second are the FTX's on the sight in target.

Top is 50, bottom is 100. Several of the guys on here will turn in the same at 200, others 300. The smokeless are able to ring out more yardage compared to the smokers. Carlo's 600 yard targets look better than most of our 100-200 yard targets.

Great. My groupings are lame! Sad

I will need to focus better.

These target were shot by me a few days apart. One was with my 40 cal. and the other was shot with my .458. the 40 cal, was at 600 yrds., and the ,458 was at 300 yrds. The firs tone is the .458 at 300yrds., and the second was my 40 cal. at 600yrds.

Wow. Its sorcery!

I am no where near that kind of range/accuracy.No

Me and my simple round balls are getting jealous!

You are using more modern rifles and stuff, yes?
It is O.K. if I am just out-classed. I will just need to
work a little harder.
