PostSubject: new englander is back   July 25th 2008, 2:40 pm

I thought someone said that tc was 6 weeks behind.

I was in bed getting some sleep when I heard the door bell and my dog going off. fedex home was at my front door with an long brown box.
only note I found said "replaced tang, tightned barrel fit, tighened bridle screws, replaced rear screw on rear sight, replaced hammer"

"note: rust is not a warranty issue"

looks like they may have lapped to barrel too. but no mention of that nor any test firings.
all in an turn around time of 2 weeks.

not bad. Cool

Sadly, No, It will not work.

You'd have to add about a 15gr charge of 4f black powder to get it to ignite the main charge.
