I had a tendency to go further out on the forend as well and that seemed to draw the rounds left, once I made sure I wasn't more than a quarter of the way out the horizontal dispersal stopped.   I agree with you on the part of shooting a slug gun.  All I can suggest is next time just make where and how hard your holding it.

Hang time may be the problem even though modern ML'ers are better they still are not as fast as rifles when it comes to hang time what I mean is the time it takes the firing pin to ignite the powder where as with a rifle it's so much faster. I had the same problem as you at one time but I over came it by talking to my self Aim. Squeeze. and Follow through The very first inline I got It was shooting 1" at 100 but I missed three Deer back to the range and the gun was still on. Another shooter said what I have said too you about Hang Time after talking to my self while hunting I no longer missed Deer. Another problem you may be having your sight picture may be different at 100 yards try shooting a bullet into your target the aim at the hole and this may solve the problem Aim small shoot small Good Luck Lou

Thanks again for the comments - I haven't had a chance to get back out as it's been too cold and I need more Fiocchis.  When I do get back out to the range I'm going to take my Omega with me as well.  The Omega had been put back in it's original packaging and stored away when I got the Accura.  I'd like to see how it does with BH209 and different bullets since I've only ever used 777 pellets and Shockwaves in it since new.
Here it is with a Sightron 2.5-7 SII scope as setup when I used it but I think it will go back out with a Leupold Ultimateslam 3-9x40 that I have sitting around just for the sake of shooting it again:

The Omega is ready - I mounted the Leupold Ultimateslam 3-9 that I took off my 12ga slug gun.  I also got the Fiocchis I was looking for, had to buy 1k of them but oh well, I'll never run out LOL!  Looking forward to a day at the range with it and the MR; been a while since I fired the Omega and I have unfinished testing with the MR...

Don't forget to post some range reports and load info.

Since seeing your Omega I'm kind of keeping my eye open for too!  Very Happy
