Description :

Howdy folks, Two Feathers here.
For sale, I just finished this. Price, $60.00 + $8.00 s&h
Smaller Priming Horn, NO valve. The cap is hand fitted Oak, stained to brown, 80/20 wax sealed, Copper plated nails holding the cap on. A hand shaped Black Walnut pour spout plug with a Folk Art Heart carved into the end. The plug is kept loss free with a length of Artificial Sinew tied to the heart and the horn. The cap is fitted with my normal 3/8”-16 (non-sparking) threaded Brass rod and acorn finial. The acorn unscrews for easy filling. There is a hand formed iron staple in the cap for tying to a bag or wearing around your neck with a thong. The horn measures 4-1/4” across the curve or 6 inches around the curve, cap to tip of horn, NOT including the plug. It has my “Two Feathers” burned in signature.
I figure this horn will hold about ¼ pound of 4FFFF powder, maybe half that much of 2FF or 3FFF?
It ain’t fancy, but it IS authentic and period correct, the process, the materials, all of it. All American made and raised using American materials and farm raised horn from this country. NO import stuff here. This will fit right in for your Winter Rendezvous. I have a bunch more horns almost finished along with new patch knife designs. As soon as I get them finished, I’ll be listing. Thanks folks. Hope fully you’ll take a shine ta something that I have for sale and buy it for a Christmas gift?
Don’t forget. My sale ends on the 31st. of this month. Now is the time to take advantage of the 10% off until October 31st.
Please contact me if you have an order, comment, or question. You can reach me here, or PM me.
As always, thanks for looking.
God bless:
