PostSubject: Muzzleloader Magazine   June 8th 2016, 1:23 pm

I'm thinking of subscribing to this magazine and I was wondering if I could get some feed back from the forum members on how good the magazine is and is it worth it.

Thanks,
Ray

I think that is one I use to get over 25 years ago, I was getting so many magazines I let some go. I enjoyed it.

New owner/publisher. Issues only every other month. Great historical, shooting and trekking articles, photos and info.  2x More pages than Muzzle Blast.

My experience with most outdoor mags or any mag for that matter is that it's 95% Ads....and 5% of what one is looking for!!

scratch
$29.00 for 6 issues. I'm going to give it a try. The site stated that it's only traditional ml'ers. No in lines or scopes. Just traditional.

I wish there was a muzzleloader magazine that had an emphasis on hunting instead of historical stuff.  With all the big game magazine's out there not one is a muzzleloader one.  I used to get one years ago called Blackpowder Hunting or something like that but they folded.  Haven't seen a muzzleloader hunting magazine since!

I enjoy Muzzleloader Magazine and read it cover to cover.
I like the ads, too. Nothing like sitting there and salivating over each rifle, smoothbore, pistol, tomahawk and knife.

Printed media is on its way to join the dodo and the quagga. Newspapers are folding every day and the others are going to online publication. The magazines are going to bi-monthly or quarterly publication. Soon it will be special yearly editions only.
These kids don't know what a book is. All they know is text lingo. BFF, ROFL, LMFAO, etc.

I'm heading over to Track of the Wolf on Monday for a few supplies.  They sell the Muzzleloader Magazine also.  I think I'll pick up a copy and see what's it's like myself.

I just checked out 2 issues of ML'er magazine and it looks pretty good. It has a little bit of everything.
I 'll let you know if I think it's worth the money after I read an issue.
