Does anyone shoot this rifle - thinking of using pyrodex or 777 loose powder and NOT pellets

You'll be much better off with the percussion model if that's the case. You'd still need 4fg for the pan anyway so, IMO, pellets and flintlocks, are a waste of time. Much more aggravation to!

I agree - don't plan on using any pellets - just want info on rifle

Most flintlocks have ignition problems with anything other than black powder. I don't know anything about your model.
To be safe, use black powder unless it's configured some different way for pellets.
