I know, I know it may be early for some but I started getting my gear together already for this years hunting season.. Clothes are all washed and packed already so I...............
Checked out some different speed loaders and loader the ones I'm going to use. Put batteries in my head lamps and range finder in order the make sure they are working.  Removed the batteries before I packed them along with the range finder, buck knives, the little green can and a small container that will hold my patches that I can keep in my pocket. ( I didn't hunt last season because I moved here but I remember 2 seasons ago the temp got down into the single digits at day break so I want to keep those patches pliable ).
I found unopened packages of hand warmers and popped open 2 packs. One package dies in '17 and the other dies in '18. Right now they both feel about the same.

I know, I know it's early but................ it gets the blood boiling again.

Dont forget the Jack Daniels. By the way I see you have a CVA in 58 caliber. How do you like it? Is it the one with a single barrel wedge and 1 and 66 twist? Al

BigAl52,
I love my 58. It has a single barrel wedge and a 1 in 66'' twist. She's a bueaty and a shooter. Check out ...........58 is ready............in the shooting range section.
I found a good load for it and it's on the money as far a I'm concerned. I'll have no problem aiming at a deer out to 70/80 yards.

I agree with BigDaddy, "it's never too early!!"  Part of the hunt is preparation and anticipation of the actual hunt.  So don't worry about preparing, have at it!
