Hey All,
I'm looking to work up new loads for the December muzzy season here in Michigan. Shooter
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Here is what I will be using to work up my loads.
Muzzleloader: CVA Accura V2 50 cal
Powder: Blackhorn 209
Bullet: Horandy Monoflex 250 grn  45 cal
Sabot 1: Hornady Red
Sabot 2: Harvester Black Crush Rib

80-90-100-110gr of powder. See which one the gun likes best.

They'll all kill deer.

I agree with Muley on this.  My brother has the Accura V2 and it shoots very good with 100 gr (Volume) or 70 gr. by weight of Blackhorn 209.  His bullet is the Harvester Scorpion Funnel Point Mag bullets in 300 gr. with the Crushed Rib Sabots.

Try the Harvester short smooth sabot my CVA Wolf loves that bullet in the smooth sabot over 95 gr bh 209

I also have the Accura V2 and use 100gr BH209 with the 250 Barnes TEZ and it groups very well. After I had settled on that load I tried the Hornady 250 Monoflex and it pretty much grouped the same as the Barnes and shot to the same point of impact.
