I butchered a deer last Monday, but before I got all the scrap cleaned up, and ground, I got sidetracked with a family emergency. I had this bin in the fridge all week, with this meat in it. It seams like it has a funny smell to it, but I think its just me. Is it still good after sitting in the fridge all week in this bin??

Feel it and see if it has a 'slimy' texture. If it doesn't, ship it to me. I will test it for you. Wink

It looks fine in the photo. If there is a problem, it would be at the bottom where the meat is in contact with the blood.
As long as your refrigerator's temp. stays in the 30's, it should be fine.
