| Marty, The dagger is one I found "on-line" - I'm not certain of it's providence but I think the blade might be Pakistani, It has no markings, but it is hand ground from good steel. The pommel, grip, and guard look to be parts that can be easily had and assembled.... I wish I could say "I made it" but not this one.. Oh and it's 6" blade 11" overall.....Nice size - not too big or too small. Ron, the bag is 8-1/2"x8-1/2"x3" at the bottom tapered to 1-1/2" at the top. It is not as large as several I have but is big enough for the essentials. the strap I added is 1" wide and unadorned. It has two brass buckles so the bag can be adjusted easily to ride at a comfortable height. The buckles are set so I can remove the strap and throw the bag over the pommel of my horse's saddle. _________________ "Never utter these words! 'I do not know this—therefore it is false.' | Bob, This pointy thing is a dagger - a dirk is a dagger of sorts, but the shape is a bit different, this knife might, maybe, just pass in a pinch. But I think its a bit short Generally a dirk is a longer single or double edged blade very wide compared to length - meant as a side arm, almost a short sword . It is too long to be a Dubh or boot knife - well more like a Scottish stocking knife _________________ "Never utter these words! 'I do not know this—therefore it is false.'
