Ok on my CVA Hawken how do I set the Trigger?

Do I just pull Hammer back and pull second Trigger setting it. Could just use Regular trigger but it is heavy.

I generally don't set the trigger until I've cocked the hammer. I just don't like that light trigger to be ready and waiting until the last moment before I shoot.

Yep, Pull it back, set the trigger when you are ready, aim, fire.

During a hunt, my rifle is always on half cock. Once I see something, I cock the hammer, set the trigger, take aim and hope for the best.
