Who sells tiny brass tacks? I am looking for tacks to dress up my stock on the forearm and wrist area, but everything I find is 1/4" diameter which is to large.

Might want to try websites that sell miniature stuff...i.e., miniature doll houses comes to mind.  They sell miniature nails and tacks in mm's.

Dunno how tiny you're looking for, but the brass tacks I used in the horn I posted recently came from our local True Value hardware store. If I recall correctly the shanks are either 3/8" or 1/2" and the heads  are less than 1/8". Pretty swank on a small horn, but perhaps too small for your visions on your gun. Crazycrow has 1/4" high dome brass tacks

Good outfit. They don't have guns, but they have lots more varieties of lots more stuff for muzzleloading and reenacting than Track of the Wolf these days.  Poke around their site while you're there. I hadn't been there in a couple of years, and I was really impressed when I went back a couple of weeks ago.

I have a Tru-Value here. What department are they in?

They're on the screw/bolt aisle in ours- plastic blister pack hanging on the wall.

Here's a source for the hard to find items like "solid brass shank tacks" along with other neat items. Have used this source for years and always pleased.
