PostSubject: More excitement in Utah...   July 22nd 2017, 4:20 pm

Now I know why the bumper sticker I saw last summer is true.

"The Worst Drivers In North America Live In Utah USA"

The wife and I were driving down a four lane highway (two lanes each way), we pass a slow driver in the first lane. You know the type head down "texting", she going 30MPH in a 55MPH area. We go about a quarter mile and here she comes at 45-50MPH now in a 25MPH zone with a stop light within 150 yards of us. She flys by us at that speed, head down texting and goes straight into a delivery van (Mini Ford van that sits real high for head room) not knowing he's there while her head is down. She hit him bouncing off him smacking another vehicle and then hangs a right, gets 25 yard then her car dies. She never hit the brakes, that was a full force hit (no brake lights ever came on). The last person to get hit was out of his truck and had her out of her car up against it so she couldn't leave. She totaled three vehicles in seconds (her's included). Stopped traffic for a few blocks, we were lucky as we were about 100 yards back from the accident but did have plastic pieces come sliding under by truck. My wife couldn't believe what she had just seen right in front of us.

What got me was this kid was trying to get away after the mess she created. Mad   Shocked

I don't know man, Florida has some crazy drivers. Its worse when you are in the back seat of a taxi. Texas, you'll see them doing 90mph & 8 feet from the guys rear bumper.

If you think Florida has bad drivers, you are right. They imported them all from Yankee states.

If you want to see REALLY BAD drivers, try Mexico City or Lagos, Nigeria. affraid pale

Texting, checking in the mirror to be sure you look good, adjusting the radio for something cool, putting on makeup or talking to others comes before driving.  ---------- ?

When I used to work (a long time ago), every morning I passed a pokey guy in a dark green Volvo .. reading a newspaper.
I had a friend (past tense) who read paperback novels when driving on a long trip. No

Oh you have them too, hell I thought I was the only one that enjoyed referring to former friends in (past tense). There are several of us on here, scratch one 'Muley', 'Bear Claw', 'Peter' is gone now "Bear Bait" or was it "Bear Fodder" ?  Question  Exclamation  Wink
