PostSubject: Hi from North Missouri   October 8th 2017, 6:56 am

Howdy all: Moved out of the mountains a few years ago when I retired. Miss my friends that  I used to shoot with out there. Haven't found a club close enough to get back into shooting again, but still looking. I live on my farm here in North Missouri so I have my range set up in my back yard. That was set up first thing after moving back here and I use it as often as I can.

Welcome singletree45.   I grew-up surrounded by farmland... farmland is awesome country!

Thanks for the welcome all.
Marty: I grew up on this very farm and after 50 years I'm back and enjoying every minute of it. I was a aircraft electrician and recently retired. I worked here in the US and allover the world , but now I truly feel like I'm home. I do shoot my muzzleloader and my Sharps as often as I can, but since I turned 75 recently Mother Nature has a way of telling to slow down a little.

Many of this group were raised in farming communities, moved away usually for work reasons then returned to their roots.

The sad part is some of our childhood memories have been taken away with farming area being developed into new communities. In my case several family farms were sold when I was young and now pretty good size communities are on the ground. One farm was 1,500 acres, I went back 20 years later and had trouble even finding the place with all the changes .....
