PostSubject: A Nice Gesture.   October 12th 2017, 1:12 pm

A few weeks ago a guy on another forum put out a plea for shed antlers so he had material to carve with. I sent him about 10 small Florida sheds some which had been chewed on by rodents.

A couple of weeks later he sent me some 'totems' he had carved.

He also included a carved "flint" arrowhead and a carved eagle's feather.

I thought that was more than an adequate exchange. However, I don't know what to do with theses gems.

Any ideas???

Cool, and they are out of your own Florida antlers!

I'm not sure of that, Joe, but they probably are because he said he had run out of raw materials for carving. I've got a lot more antlers but they're attached to the skulls of the deer I've killed.

I like them. They have character. And, I'm curious about the others, too. Keep 'em.

It is difficult to tell how big they are so ideas are hard to come up with.

They are about 3 1/2" x 3". The feather and arrowhead are smaller.
