I had an early muzzy land owners tag here in Iowa and almost pale filled it. Had a monster whitetail with long tines and a good spread, probably 11 or 12 points show up outta the blue at about 120 yards. I am comfortable at that distance with my V2 so I got pumped quick. He was in tall set aside and I lost him. I kept waiting for him to show on the other side of a cherry tree but didn't see him come out. Then I saw some movement to my right and there he was about 75 yards down the fence row. He traveled that distance with his head down and I didn't see him in the tall weeds. Now he was 200 yards and quartering away instead of broadside. Oh well. Maybe he will live thru bow season. I still have 2 shotgun seasons ( the muzzy is legal) and late muzzy. I think I have his sheds from last year, but not positive it is the same deer. I'll post a pic of the sheds my grandson found last January if I can figure out how to do it.

I agree Sharpshooter! I've not had the good fortune (or maybe skill) to get within range of one that nice. Jon, how did you get the pic to display? I got the link to work but from there...?
