PostSubject: ONE OF THOSE MORNINGS   October 31st 2017, 6:52 am

Some days at this point in our lives when first getting up you even have trouble putting on your Levi's. If you can hit that first leg hole correctly then your going in the right direction. Put your foot in the wrong hole then its really hard to close the fly when in the back .......

Then there's that gas build up problem from over night.

Shame on you, Buck. nono   Still wearing Levi's after all their anti-hunting crap? Switch to Wranglers. They're just as good and the company isn't anti-hunting.

I live in ranch country. I've never seen anybody wearing Levi's in this area. They don't even have them in the stores. This is definitely Wrangler country.

OK if you can remember at this point in your life, change brands ....  Levi was used being made since 1873, Wranger came on the sense in 1897.

The oldest pair of blue jeans in the Levi's archive are kept in a fire-proof safe to which only two people know the combination.
They are wide and durable enough to wear over long johns while out harvesting timber or mining silver in 1879, the year they were produced. Back then, the relic went by a different, old-timey name: waist overalls, to contrast with competitors' popular bib overalls.

Good morning Pete,

I don't care, wear whatever was the cheapest. If there are other brands that are 10 oz. or heavier in weight I buy them (sometimes on Sportsman Guide has 12 oz. off brand usually in some odd sizes that won't work unless your 340 lb.).

Not my dance partners pal. Like said whatever is the cheapest whether Wrangler or Levi or another brand is what I'll wear. Carhartt makes 12 oz. fabric pants that wear like iron much like the "beaver proof" Duluth Trading Co pants.

I was thinking of getting some Deluth pants. I crack up at their commercials.

If I get some brown ones I could wear them hunting.

Schmidt really makes good clothing. I've been buying that lately because its affordable and lasts. Their pants are almost like carhart, only they last a hell of a lot longer and don't fall apart. Plus they are only around $25.

Tractor Supply. They have a ton of good clothing. I like their thick cotton button up shirts, very warm and quality made.

This town has no stores, but we have one of those. I bought some torch tip clean out tools. Sort of long round files, but not real sharp. They were perfect for cleaning touch holes on flintlocks.

Have carried one of them for 30 years, have two sizes with antler tips epoxied on them (smoothbore likes one size while rifled gun likes the other) kept in their own shooting pouches. Best part they are not pointed so your not punching holes in other goods.

Duluth trading firehose flex pants. They wear like iron have tons of pockets and there pockets are big. Big enough for conceal carry. I carry a 45 in the front pocket everyday. Cant beat there customer service or guaranty either. Cost a little more yes but the last a long time

I get my suspenders from Duluth, the ones that hook onto a belt.
I was buying my 12 oz bluejeans from Sportsman's Guide. They fit great, but wear out too quickly. I'll start looking at the ones sold by Duluth.
I like Dickie's Chino work pants, as well.

My first problem in the morning is leaving my warm cozy wife in the warm bed, the next is standing up and getting my knee's to work.

My first problem in the morning is leaving my warm bed, the wife and my dog (this little dog keeps me warm). Once I start moving my first problem is trying to put my sweats on, if I can hit that first leg hole then I'm moving in the right direction.

A few times the sweats went on pretty easy, I'm thanking God. An hour later I realize my sweats are on backward, no wonder it was hard to put my hands in the pockets to retrieve a poop bag?    Rolling Eyes   Light Bulb  God has strange ways of having fun ... Cool

Since I get up to pee 6 times a night. Getting up in the morning is just another trip to pee, but I stay up.
