How would I know how thick these .32/36 cal patches are? The product doesn't specify.

Normally, they're .018.

So, perhaps they would work with .310 ball? Sorry I have so many questions.

It could work for the .32, but you never know until you try it in the bore. There's no standard for muzzleloader bores, so it's always an experiment with a new gun until we try a patch/ball combo.

About the only way I know to get pillow ticking in different thicknesses is to go to a fabric shop and measure it with a micrometer. It seems all brands of pillow ticking patches at .018

Red and white will be .015, but few places sell it. I get mine here.

I bought both red & white and blue & white at the Hobby Lobby store. Also Joanne Fabric's has both.

if you go to tight weave medium weight pure linen obtained off a internet linen cloth site you will never use pillow ticking again. it is so superior in all ways that the pillow ticking isnt even in the running. cut them off at the muzzle with the ball set into the muzzle 1/8 of a inch below the crown.
