When taking my Traditions Crockett apart for cleaning, I know I need to remove the nipple, but is there a screw that needs to come out? Sorry for all the questions, but BP is totally new to me.

No such thing as a dumb question. Remove the Ram rod, then the barrels wedge key, lift the barrel away. Its a hooked breech so it will have to come off at an upward angle.
