Traded off that Knight LK93 to Cayugad for this mtn stalker .54cal. We already have a 50 but i love 54's and can not wait to shoot it!

Going to take it completely apart and scrub it down before i do the Bore Coat and Gun Shield application.

Put them up in the classifieds, maybe someone will pick them up!

I have the same gun. I later got a CVA 209 Buckhorn Magnum which has become the gun I use for hunting so I am in the process of re-stocking my Mountain Stalker. Mine has a 1 in 38 barrel twist and it will shoot PRB and you can slow down a bit as well- good for target shooting.

I debated what to do on the restock, at first I was thinking of a half stock and under rib but the forward pipe is dovetailed to the underside of the barrel and the dovetail would be exposed. I therefore went with a full stock and double wedges, the forward wedge having the tenon placed in the pipe dovetail. I am trying to make in a generic plains rifle. When I'm done I'll post some pictures. I put some cast into the stock and man it points right on when brought to shoulder.
