I have just had my mate Daves' coat pistol locks' cock adjusted, it now sparks ver reliably,  it is a replacement hence the work needed. Lockplate is marked Clare, opposite lock panel marked T.W.Edge.  London proof marks on the barrel. Only a foresight, no rear sight. Bore is ver nice, smooth, and .65. Holds really well. P1020912 by Gordon Hazel, on P1020916 by Gordon Hazel, on P1020919 by Gordon Hazel, on P1020919 by Gordon Hazel, on P1020920 by Gordon Hazel, on P1020913 by Gordon Hazel, on Flickr

Very nice looking hand gun. Do you get to shoot it?

I have done with about 28 grains of fffg and a .65 ball. Ver pleasant to shoot. Have not tried a target with it as have only just got the lock back and fitted

3rd May,  had the pistol loaded blank for a week or so, then popped a ball down. Shot it off from the back stoop, went off with hell of a bang and I hit the spot I aimed at.

I've had several Twigg pistols over the years that are dead ringers for the one you shared with us. These guns are always fun to look at (better to own), getting pretty pricey these days.

That's about right for one in this condition. I once in a while I run across cased or matched pistols (cased) and your in the $3,000 to $5,000 range.
