I don't know anything helpful out there, but I want to offer my congratulations to your wife. That is a big deal to finish. Well done and well done to you for supporting her celebration of it.

Congratulations to your Wife, and you for helping her out, a lot of study.  She has from what you have said a most interesting background. I believe maths and music use the same part of the brain.

Cheers from down under

Gordon.

Congratulations to your wife and you!
I've had many non-traditional (as well called older students who came back to school after being out in the world for some time). In one sense, it is a challenge to get back into the education mindset. In another sense the more mature student has an advantage in focus, drive and mental discipline. The non-traditional students often outperform the kids!
Your wife deserves our respect and admiration for her achievements.
Ron

Down under our Aboriginals are much the same, that is the unspoilt ones from out in the  bush, say what they mean and mean what they say.

Nice going and sticking to your guys plan, so many start like you but never get to the point your at now. While she's working you can play with the locals, lots of family historys to hear about.

There's lots to do there, the territory of South Dakota was added to the United States in 1803 as part of the Louisiana Purchase. The first permanent American settlement was established at Fort Pierre by the Lewis and Clark expedition in 1804. White settlement came to the territory in the 1800 had clashes with the Sioux, as some of the land had been granted to the tribe by an earlier treaty. The territory was incorporated into the union on November 2, 1889, along with North Dakota. Had a controversy over which state would be admitted to the union first, President Harrison shuffled the bills and signed one at random, with the order going unrecorded, though North Dakota is traditionally listed first. Lot's of history and some good places to go to shoot, several local muzzleloading groups around the state.

A major part of South Dakota’s economy is tourism–visitors, Mt. Rushmore, which with the 60-foot-tall sculptures of the faces of Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt and Lincoln. Go see it and start reading about the spots not traveled as much by the crowds.

Use to canoe, hunt and hang out at Fort Union over the years. It was built and rebuilt between 1828 and 1867, Fort Union was the most important fur trade post on the Upper Missouri River. The Assiniboine and six other Northern Plains Indian Tribes exchanged buffalo robes and furs for goods from around the world, including cloth, guns, blankets, and beads. The post annually traded over 25,000 buffalo robes and $100,000 in merchandise. Great interesting history of the fur trade and buffalo hunter periods. Neat place .......
