PostSubject: BH209 AND HEAVY CONICALS   June 3rd 2018, 11:23 am

TRIED 75 GR OF BH 209 WITH MMP SUB BASE AND 460 GR NO EXCUSE CONICALS SIZED TO .504 . FIRST GROUP WAS 17/8 WHICH THE 2ND SHOT, MY FAULT,  OPENED THE GROUP UP OTHERWISE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AROUND AN INCH.  LAST GROUP OF THE DAY WAS RIGHT AROUND 1 INCH.

I DID FIND THAT IF I DID NOT LET THE BARREL COOL THE SHOT WOULD GO UP ABOUT 1 INCH FROM THE GROUP. ON MY LAST GROUP THE BARREL WAS COMPLETELY COOL TO THE TOUCH BEFORE I EVEN LOADED THE POWDER.

LEARNED 2 THINGS TODAY ONE I'M DONE WITH 777 AND TWO I'M MAY BE DONE WITH SABOTS AND LOOKING FOR THAT MAGICAL 2000 FPS.
