Went fishing this morning for Trout. Didn't get any, couple nibbles.

Suppose to cool into the 80's in a few days, will go Squirrel hunting. Maybe they are cutting on Hickory nuts.

fellows i have to share some thing, now that my wife is a nurse practitioner she said to me, lets sell out and move to bermidji minn. she can get work up their easy. im willing. when you are talking fishing, bermidji minn. is the place to go. clear water lakes by the 100/s up their. i know how to fish those lakes as i was raised close to their. im hopeing i live long enough to finish my days up their, you name it that the lake holds up their and i know how to fish it. i remember catching a black crappie the size of a dinner plate up their as a 15 year old boy, want to do that again. on our honey moon up their my wife pulled out a near record size yellow belly sunfish, as she took it into the boat a fish hawk took the same size one not 10 yards from the water behind the boat. that country is to nice to even describe.

I live outside Lebanon on the Niangua River but we also have a Cabin SW of Warsaw next to COE Land on Truman Lake.

Where we live I'm close to the river and 35 miles from Pomme de Terre Lake and 30 miles from Mark Twain National Forest. Short drive to the best Hunting and Fishing in the state.

Don't know it has been around since I was a kid. Too woody for Potatoes but they do have Musky.

French look at my name and think Dog.
