I always liked this style, kind of reminds me of the m60 bipod with the steel sleds on the bottom. I have a basical bipod on my mosin nagant but i may end up putting this bipod on it.

May I ask if you've ever shot an M60?  They're a fun gun to shoot, especially if you're not being shot at affraid

LOL No not yet. The NRA Whittington Center has a deal every other year where you can shoot a fully automatic machine gun for something like $75 for 100 rounds. My brother in law fired a SCAR the last time they had it. Just depends on what machine guns they bring out.

I was in the USAF, but while in Vietnam I was able to fly as a door gunner on an Army Huey making a "milk" run from Tan Son Nhut to Cu Chi to pick up the mail & replacements.  I fired around 200 rounds from the gun and like I said, it's fun if you're not being shot at which thankfully we  weren't.

Mark do you enjoy shooting the 460?  I've put 1 round through one and quickly decided that it wasn't for me.  Just too much noise and recoil to just punch paper, however if I wanted to shoot one of our dangerous Squirrels at 500 yards I suppose I could be forced to use it lol!

My 460 has very little recoil with the muzzle break and a 14 in barrel. My 44 mag has more recoil then the 460.  The noise takes a little getting use to. The only problem I have is I cant use it at night hunting pigs the muzzle flash will blind you in the dark for several minutes its intense . If you miss there is never a second chance. It is super accurate out to over 100 yards shot both hogs and raccoons at that distance. Hopefully I get a deer this fall with it .

Owned one for several months, couldn't afford the ammo, even military stuff, sold the gun to the police department.
