Been running into examples of CVA/Traditions/Thompson Centers cut down to 16.5 inches similar to sawed off shot guns 1) Anyone Done this? and Why?

Most likely the rifles were rusted/pitted and some folks decided to turn them into shotguns to continue using them. Sounds easy enough for you to do yourself.

Yes one incident the owner mentions short rifle brush gun I guess my thought is chopping down a perfectly good gun? like the day I was faced with my first jump if the Aircraft is ok why the hell would I wanna jump? To avoid my a@^ from getting wrapped around a boot seemed reason enough hahahahaha
