their is a small sand hills lake about 50 miles from my house with no traffic at all on the road to the lake. as soon as the ice goes out the north lake starts draining into the bigger south lake. at that point in that narrow channel of faster water the crappies bite like nuts. one can get his limit of 15 in a real short time.been thinking about that time and it isnt that far off. the three high school boys im strength training want to go with me. we will have to fill a big barrel with fresh water. that could mean 60 crappies if we all do the limit.just put them in a barrel of clean cold water. bass are taken also at this time. something to think about on this cold winter day. anybody else thinking this way?
