Nikon Bushmaster 4-12x40 - Durasight Quick Detach Scope rings - Upgraded the breech plug to the hex head style to replace the original messy shooting slotted breech plug ( flat head screw driver style ) O ring in the primer pocket and laterĀ  tonight, I will be shimming the face of the bolt to snug up the head space.

She's almost ready!

Jon, you got me thinking about taking my old Optima version 1 out and putting the .45 barrel on it and trying some Barnes 195 thru it. Looks nice !

All clean after shooting today!

A dozen shots through her today. Those Winchester W209 primers leave behind some nasty crusty glass like carbon behind!

Bolt face when I pulled it out for cleaning. Not one sign of blowby! Just wiped it down with an oily rag and set it off to the side while I went about cleaning the bore.
