If anyone can actually answer this, I'd LOVE to know that myself!!!
I've been here for 3 years and still CAN'T figure out how to add a photo to a PM or post one?
I hope you're finding this site useful, and welcome again.

Newbe question Pic110

Once you select your pictures ( maximum upload is 3 pictures at a time ) hit the Send All button, they will upload with a little color bar to show you the progress. Once complete, hit Insert All

That's not exactly the thought I had in mind, but I appreciate your enthusiasm. It's not done yet, just close. I'm told that I still needs a butt cap. It's 14-1/4" long from tip to butt end right now. After the butt cap...who knows?
I think it would make a great addition to some Mountain Man's wardrobe? Thanks. Now if someone would just love it enough to buy it, I'd be truly grateful.

You'll have to sign up here and use this to share photos.

https://postimages.org/

Theres also photobucket but they put a huge photobucket image over your picture as advertisement.

Hi Frontier Gander
I already have an account with postimage. But when I uploaded my Bowie photos, I didn't use it. I just followed your instructions and uploaded my photos right from my Pictures folder? It seems to have worked?

No, if you want a place to store your personal collection, use postimage and store the pictures there. I prefer using our quick photo uploader on here.

Another thing, if you are running pop up blockers or ad blockers, thats another issue that can cause problems with what the forum offers as far as photo sharing.

I've never figured out how to use postimage without getting that damn Orange link, in my post, that you need to view my photos.? And then After a few hours, days, weeks, it stops working. I think (as long as this method works) I'll just keep doing it this way? Thank you very much for explaining it.

I posted a picture in another thread and took the picture from my computer. You don't need to have pictures hosted to post them here.

I wasn't sure, but I was fairly certain that I could do it this way.  cheers
I have a shooting bag that I'm finishing up shortly. Do you think there's a market for it here? If not...I'll list it on the Muzzle Loading Forum? Not a real fan of that site, but if it makes sales, I'm all for it!
Thanks:

Post it here and if no result, post it on ML forum. I left that forum years ago when it was still owned by Claude. All they wanted to do was argue about everything.

AMEN brother
Not much seems to have changed? They all but ran me off? The Admin said that if I wanted to sell there, I had to pay to be a Vendor? Funny thing is, it took 3 months of me selling before that happened, and it wasn't until after I got into it with one of their prized members. They said I was listing too many items. Then a week later another guy got on there and listed 5 items in the same day. I wonder if they told HIM that?
Thanks for the advice. We'll see how it goes?
Stoney

I'm right there with ya.' buddy!!! That's why I don't sell on eBay OR Etsy.  Evil or Very Mad Etsy isn't any better.  Evil or Very Mad  They charge you to list, then they charge you a % of your profit when you sell, AND they charge you if you relist an item!!? Screw that... OH yeah.. and who can forget the chunk that PayPal takes?  Shocked   Twisted Evil
Thanks for the thought though Pete, Frontier.

Paypal fees are for businesses. I always use the friend option. No fees.

Figure the ebay fees into your price.

when you buy something on ebay, it doesnt give you the friend option. Plus seller/buyer want the protection paypal offers, the friend version doesnt offer protection.

I try to use that "friend option" whenever I can? Most folks don't know about it, so when I ask buyers to use it they think I'm cheating them somehow and making more money? You DO sound like a cheapskate when you ask a buyer to use it, and then they ask you WHY??? so you explain it, that's when they think you're doing something nefarious? If THEY were on the shit stick end of PayPal, they'd get it??

If it was cheating Paypal wouldn't offer it. It's only cheating if a business uses it.

It's against the rules on the bamboo fly fishing forum to use it. Knuckleheads.

Now that's unique??? I didn't know about the business thing? Fortunately I no longer tie flies or fly fish.
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll have to look from now on.
