VX3 on my Encore Pizza024

I absolutely love this scope. Got rid of my 50mm VXII and my Bushnell. Couldn't be happier. This scope is short, bright and has good eye relief as well as a forgiving eyebox. Purchased for $360.

Will do FG. High 90's here in Louisville with humidity making it feel like 115 so says the local weatherman. I'm itching as is just about everyone else on here to get out and make some smoke. Report will be forthcoming.

Bushnell was longer than the leupold and had too much eye relief. I couldn't get it far enough forward for my liking. I really thought I would like a multiple reticle scope, but it seemed too busy. I know I'm doing a 180 on this one. I thought the Bushnell was well built and bright. Just didn't "fit" if u know what I mean. Always wanted a VX3. Lets see if it lives up to the hype!

I understand. I would have went with that scope also out of them, and actually out of many lol. Im still up in the air about what im going to put on my v2. I hesitate putting another cheap scope on it and i wont have the kind of cash i dont think this year (bowhunting is killing me). Im almost tempted to shoot open sights this year and put something really nice next year....who knows.

As a fellow archer, I know your pain! Bowhunting is expensive. As an old fart who has wasted his share of money on Scopes, buy something you trust. If you compromise, you will question every flier and every shot that is off. You have an awesome muzzleloader. It deserves the best you can put on it. Some don't feel that way, but when I'm freezing my butt off hunting, I want to know if I pull the trigger, its on me.

Thats exactly how I feel about it. When it comes to my equipment I dont want to be questioning it the whole time i have it. My wife tells me every time i buy something "now are you going to be happy with it?" So its just better to do it right the first time and not go threw the hassle.
