Does anyone have this scope and dialed the bdc reticles in using BH 209? Barnes tez, PT golds, or Areolites will be the choices to shoot out of my V2.

I do not, but I'd really like to hear how you like the Vortex scope as I'm thinking about getting one.

Is this the Diamondback series?? That's what I'm thinking about.

I think sqezer has several and really likes them.

I don't have any bdc as of yet dut the Diamondback is a great scope, I like it better than the Viper.

Hello, I'm also a tractor-trailer driver for Federal Express out of Indy airport. I really don't understand why your thoughts of a diamondback would be your choice? Most hunters have a 3x9x40 scope for a ML unless hunting out west or in open terrain. Reading forums and personal experiences most hunters will stay away or complain that 50mm obj. are too high. So a 4x12x40 in woods compared to 2.5x10x44 is gaining more than losing. More field of view, not too high, a little stronger than a 9 power. Now if you feel that the diamondback series is clearer, then that is why they make different options and price points. Let me know if you or anyone can figure out that ballistic chart. Nixon I will admit is very user friendly. On the Vortex site I can't get the first part to open up to allow me to put my personal load and bullet info in, just keeps saying NEW. Thanks Joe

stramons, it's nice to have another driver onboard, I have two different areas that I hunt, my scopes are always on the lowest settings until the need to up the power is needed. I also like to keep my scopes mounted as close to the barrel as possible.
