a friend has a charles daley 50 cal precussion an wants to sell it. he doesnt know what it worth. it has all the goodies ( the brass stuff ) anyone have an idea

supposed to be great rifles. You may try gunbroker and type in that make and see what you come up with.

i look at the gun today. he said it was 20 years old . not a scratch on it.never fired. $180.00 is it worth that

saw an 50cal hawkens at an pawn shop running for about $125 but it had a little rust on the barrel. great looking stock. would of got it if they had it.

50 cal. the gun is sharp. ingraving on the side lock.brass still shiny.

just wanted to let you know i traded for that muzzleloader an man is it nice . everything shinny, traded a marlin model 60 22lr for even up .i thought that was a good deal

I bought a Charles Dayley on line a few months back. It was all most new, only a few shots down range. It is my Wife rifle. and she is good with it. She hardly ever goes to the range to practice. This last weekend, our club(Colorado Springs Muzzle Loaders) a camp out. She came in 2nd in woman's. shoot. I came in 5th in the men's and I practice a lot. I should of used my Penn 45 cal long rifle. Sunday we just played on the range for practice. The Pedersoli was shooting very good.
To get back to the C.D, I paid $225 for it. It was made back in the 70's. You got a good deal on it. They are great guns. Pam's
is a Hawkins style.
