Looked at these 2 scopes today & they seem very bright, sharp, & clear. The new Legend series has the proven Rainguard coating & the Redfield has the etched muzzleloader reticle. I'm not sure why Redfield went overseas on the Revenge after bragging so much on their Revolutions being made in Oregon.

What I am wondering is does anyone have any experience with either one? These were 3-9 by the way. My preference is usually in the 2-7 range, but as I get older, my eyes don't seem to mind a bit more magnification, LOL!

I've heard mixed reviews on the Revenge. I like the idea of the built in range finder, but it's no good if the scope has problems.

I've had a couple of Revolutions, and they were good.

My Revolutions have been nothing less than fantastic. (Two 2-7 & one 3-9) All Accurange models. I just wish they had built the Revenge in Oregon.

Yes, it's shame companies have to do that. I'd like to see that range finder feature on the Revolution.

Not uncommon for a company to somewhere have a foreign "version" of their real product. Somewhat dissapointing though that all new Redfields apparently are not made in the USA.

Love my Redfield Revolution.

I just don't understand why when they have a dedicated plant in Oregon. They promote their quality "AMERICAN MADE" scope & then switch to a foreign source......without a word of course.

Apparently not as there hasn't been anywhere near the hype with this new Revenge.

Very Happy

I have two of those Redfields Revolutions and I won't trade them off for any other. I thought the 3x9 was really good until the 4x12 came along. Really good scopes. Remember, they are made by LEUPOLD..... Smile

I agree Ray. I have one on my Apex 50cal & one on my TC Impact 50cal. Both with Accurange & I love them! I just wish they had done the same with the Revenge.
