Yep should do just fine as long as it doesnt clog up in the powder channel.

I have not tried Black MZ nor do I know anyone who has.
I'm NOT trying to start a fight, However this statement begs the question.
Are you saying Black MZ creates excessive fouling?
Please be more clear.

oh no, black mz is bulky and it tends to not flow very easily into the breech plug/bolster on traditional sidelocks, i've had issues with it in a cabelas hawken as well as a cva hawken and its just one of those set backs that really can bite you in the rear end if you pull the trigger on a deer and the cap just goes pop.

It's more like gravel than powder.

We had a sub here that was so fine we had to plug the nipple to keep the rubbish from running out the bottom when loading our guns Suspect

It seems the subs are designed with inline ignition in mind.  That makes sense since inlines are the going trend.  I am happy with BP, don't care about the smell and clean up but I want more velocity yet stay with the traditional stock design.

Speaking of........
I am looking for donor T/C Omega for the trigger and lockup parts.
