I'm not saying it isn't a good scope because I don't have any experience with it but it just isn't something that I would try honestly.

There will be different marks in the scope and each one has a specific yardage that it is good for. The companies have them set for their load but all guns are different and you will probably use a different load then they do. You want to shoot at the different distances you plan on shooting at to figure out where each mark hits. Not sure what your price range is but one that I recommend is the Bushnell DOA 250 for muzzleloaders. Good scope. Here is what the reticle looks like explaining it.

Bass pro has it on there website for $190 but I see them cheaper. Ebay has them for 145-150 and I think Carlos can get you one for around that price as well. Here is a couple on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bushnell-Doa-250-Trophy-Riflescope-3-9X40-Matte-/131077618691?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e84d5bc03

I got my Bushnell DOA 250 from Amazon(Reds Gear) and paid around $145 at least 2 years ago. It is a decent scope in that price range. The marks are close enough for hunting situations.

I have been using Bushnell DOA for the last 5 years and have taken Deer and Coyotes with them, from 60 yards to 230 yards, So far I have not had a problem with them.
They are on my
ACCURA V2 50 cal
Optima 50 cal
and my Kodiak 45 cal

reason we plan go to bass pro shop is to take a look at scope but not plan on bought, but as i take a look at it then come home and search the same brand for a cheaper prices like ebay  or other store..

You will like the Bushnell DOA 250 JT. I have used one before and it is a good scope for the money.

i own one and it works just fine 50 segments out to 300yds. doubt you will shot that far anyway.Just have to get the right load for it to work right but thats the same with all of them. your velosity is everything with these scopes.Just make sure you have a good rangefinder
