CVA Accura V2, Thumbhole stock, DNZ mount, Leupold 3-9x40 - 7lbs 14.5oz

Traditions Strikerfire, Factory Traditions 2 piece mounts/rings, Traditions 3-9x40 scope - 7lbs 3oz

That 11.2oz difference is easily felt between the two rifles. I didn't think there was that much of a difference until I picked them down up, the Accura feels heavy up front where as the Strikerfire kind of just feels like a feather floating around lol.

Something is wrong. The V2 weighs 7lbs 5oz with no scope and mount.

Your scale has to be reading light.

nope I've already set the scale right. The scope and mount are very light compared to a konus/durasight base.

Yes, I know the setup with the package deal from CVA is heavy. Here it is at 8lb 9oz.

Is the DNZ aluminum?

You still seem light.

V2...7lb 5oz

Leupold...11 oz

That's 8lb without the DNZ.
